Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever is a potentially fatal viral disease that is transmitted by mosquitoes in parts of South America and Africa. Immunisation is required for travellers to these parts of the world.

Notification

Yellow Fever is a hospital and laboratory notifiable disease in NSW and must be reported by phone to the local Public Health Unit (PHU) as soon as possible after diagnosis.
