The information published on this site relates to public and private patients treated in NSW public hospitals, including the Port Macquarie Base Hospital and Hawkesbury District Hospital where patients are treated under contract to the public system.

What can I do if I am unhappy with my waiting time?

Discuss your individual situation with your GP. He/she may be able to provide you with an estimate of how much longer you may have to wait. Your GP may also be able to refer you to a specialist with a shorter waiting time.
