Summary
The Mental Health (Criminal Procedure) Act 1990 has been renamed and revised. The amended Act will be renamed the Mental Health (Forensic Provisions) Act 1990 on 1 March 2009 when the amended Act commences. As a result of the commencement of the amended Act, the Mental Health Act 2007 will also be amended. The Information Bulletin provides information on the key changes to the Mental Health Act 2007.
