Policy Distribution System (PDS) for NSW Health

Summary
All policy documents applicable to the NSW Health system are issued by the Department of Health through the Policy Distribution System. NSW Health organisations must have systems in place to distribute policy documents to staff and organisations under their control and to monitor compliance. This policy directive provides the policy and procedures for approving and distributing policy documents that apply to NSW Health agencies.

Amendments were made to this document on 12/04/2013. These include:
- Clarification of Section 2.4
- Replacing references to Corporate Governance and Risk Management Branch with Strategic Relations and Communications (SRC) following the transfer of the PDS to SRC.
It should be noted that other than the above amendments the content of PD2009_029 has not changed
