Summary
This policy directive requires all Ministry Divisions, Agencies, Local Health Districts and Health Networks to report annually on red tape reduction initiatives to support the Ministry's red tape reduction target of $10M by June 2015. The target takes effect from 1 September 2011, and is a measure of savings to businesses and community as a result of reduced red tape. This initiative is part of a Government-wide commitment to reducing red tape by 20% (equivalent to $750M) by June 2015 as outlined in the Premier's Memorandum No M2012-02.
