The Australian Sign Language Interpreters Association (ASLIA) is the professional body representing Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN) interpreters and provides regular professional development workshops, information about employment opportunities and issues that affect interpreters.

Australian Tinnitus Association NSW
Do you have NOISES in your ears or head? Tinnitus is the medical term for the constant ringing, hissing noises. If you have tinnitus contact the Australian Tinnitus Association for information, support and access to counselling.
Better Hearing Australia (Sydney) Inc.
Better Hearing Australia is the national voice of all people in Australia with having impairment, promoting good communication and life solutions by the provision of education, support and advocacy.
Community Nurse Audiometrists Association Inc (CNAA Inc)

Nurse Audiometrists are registered nurses who have undertaken post graduate training in Nursing Audiometry studies. Provide full hearing assessments for people for all ages (this will vary depending on location). Nurse Audiometrists provide the link in hearing health services between primary hearing screening and tertiary referral services. As well as hearing assessments, Nurse Audiometrists are involved in case management, referral and liaison with a range of organisations, early identification of hearing disorders, and hearing health promotion relevant to the area in which they work, eg. rural and metropolitan. They are involved in health promotion, community education and development, undertake industrial hearing tests and associated education and also mentor students training in nursing audiometry. Many Nurse Audiometrists are involved in SWISH, either as Area Coordinators, or screeners.

Deaf Education Network is the education division of The Deaf Society of New South Wales. As a registered training organisation, it specialises in adult education for Deaf. Activities include; accredited and non-accredited programs for the Deaf, hearing and hearing-impaired people, accredited and non-accredited Auslan (Australian Sign Language) courses for the wider community, workplace training for Deaf people and Deafness awareness training for businesses and organisations.

National Auslan Interpreter Booking & Payment Service (NABS)
This free service is available to people who use sign language attending private medical and health care appointments. NABS will engage interpreters for health care appointments at the request of sign language users and health care providers, using a national database of interpreters.
