Mental Health Emergency Response 2007: Memorandum of Understanding

Summary

The Memorandum of Understanding (Mental Health) between NSW Health, Ambulance Service of NSW and NSW Police Force commits these agencies to work in cooperation to promote a safe and coordinated system of care and transport and clearly defines the roles of each agency at major points of the process from initial contact through assessment and care.

The MOU document also contains appendices and forms to assist the coordination of care.
