NSW Health is committed to partnering with the non-government sector to deliver important community-based services that support the health and wellbeing of the public, especially vulnerable or hard to reach populations.
In 2019-20, NSW Health allocated $163 million through Ministerially Approved Grants (MAGs) to over 310 non-government organisation (NGO) partners across the State.
The Policy Directive on Administration of NSW Health Grant Funding for Non-Government Organisations guides NSW Health agencies on the requirements for effective and consistent grant administration when dealing with non-government organisation partners.
