Nursing and midwifery

Visit the Ways of Working (WoW) Project, which explored the ways in which nurses organise their clinical work and the "take the lead": The Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager Project.

Models of care

The following agencies demonstrate models of care work being undertaken the Agency for Clinical Innovation, the Cancer Institute NSW, Office for Health and Medical Research and the Essentials of Care (EOC) program.

Excellence and innovation in healthcare

The Excellence and Innovation in Healthcare (EIH) online portal is a joint partnership between the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) and the Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC). The site provides a ‘one stop shop’ to access their initiatives, making it easier to stay updated on healthcare improvement initiatives across NSW.

Healthcare professionals, senior executives, clinicians and managers working within the NSW Health System, along with key stakeholders – including, importantly, patients - now have access to information on major initiatives that are being carried out by ACI and CEC.
