The NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service is responsible for implementing the Increasing Organ Donation in NSW: Government Plan 2012.
Agency for Clinical Innovation(ACI) Renal Network
One of the priorities of the Network is to identify and address issues impacting on adequate provision of kidney transplantation services.

National reform

Organ and Tissue Authority (OTA)
Works with states and territories, clinicians and the community sector to deliver the Australian Government’s national reform programme to improve organ and tissue donation and transplantation outcomes in Australia.

Organ donation data

Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA)
Records and reports on patients who have received renal replacement therapy in Australia and New Zealand.
Australia and New Zealand Organ Donation (ANZOD) Registry
Records and reports on the numbers of deceased organ donors and recipients in Australia and New Zealand.
The NFC Program objectives are to ensure equitable access to certain low volume, high cost and highly specialised clinical practices and technologies.This includes six organ transplant procedures. NFC sites are required to provide annual reports which include patient numbers.
The OTA Performance Reports provide data on progress in implementing the national reform programme.
